ESP SeaPort Enhanced Team Quality Program
ESP defines quality as consistently meeting, or exceeding, our customers' requirements on or ahead of schedule. We take our commitment to quality seriously. Accordingly, our Quality Management System (QMS) is ISO 9001:2008 compliant and ensures quality performance through collaborative, customer-centric project planning; complete, tailored resource allocation; technically qualified project management with formal reviews by our experienced top management team; and deliberate processes for obtaining and integrating customer feedback throughout a project's lifecycle.
The ESP approach to quality has its roots in our Excellence-in-Service (EIS) business philosophy that has been the hallmark of the company's operations since early 2000, a period of impressive gains in the size and scope of our business. This approach places highest priority on satisfying customers and continuously improving our business practices. EIS involves everyone and everything we do at ESP. It involves identifying customers (both external and internal) and their requirements, our work products or outputs, the processes to realize them, and measuring and continuously improving those processes.
Our senior management is responsible for identifying resource requirements and providing a sufficient bench of trained and certified employees in order to ensure that the expectations and needs of our customers are consistently met, without loss of service. At ESP, this begins with the submission of proposals for which our policy is to bid an executable project - one that can be reasonably expected to occur within the stated cost and time constraints. We recognize that every service environment is different, and we will work closely with you to ensure that our Quality Program is tailored to the individual NAVSEA Task Order requirements. Our continuous improvement methodologies provide us the option to take advantage of lessons learned from similar contracts to continuously improve our Quality Program. After project award, our contract review process with our customers includes a verification that requirements for the deliverable products and/or services are defined, and are consistent with earlier understanding.
We achieve quality in all that we do by:
We are committed to ensuring that all teammates will hold their work to the same high standard of quality that we do. We will ensure all subcontractors comply with our Quality Program through regularly scheduled meetings with our teammates to address quality issues on awarded task orders. Where we integrate our teammates on a Task Order, we will ensure that our teammates are fully trained in our quality processes and procedures.
