Engineering Solutions & Products LLC (ESP) announced June 20, 2016 that Gary Winkler, former Army’s Program Executive Officer for Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS), has joined the ESP Advisory Board. “Gary’s extensive experience as a leader in Government as well as private industry will immediately benefit ESP’s strategic growth strategy, specifically in IT and supporting PEO EIS,” said Douglas Fouser, ESP President and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Gary Winkler is a well-known defense and information technology executive with a 30-year track record of leading edge accomplishments. He served in the Senior Executive Service from 2003 until 2011 when he left to join private industry. As his first SES assignment, he reported to the Army’s CIO/G-6 as the Army’s first Chief Knowledge Officer and Principal Deputy for Governance and Acquisition, where he established Army IT Policy, Processes and IT Personnel Development Program. In 2007, Gary was assigned as PEO EIS where he led a $4 billion per year organization of 2,500 professionals to deliver new, large-scale systems supporting finance, logistics, personnel, communications infrastructure, biometrics, medical and warfighting functions. Mr. Winkler worked across all Military Departments, DoD Agencies, the OSD staff, and the Congressional Staff. He was twice awarded the Presidential Rank Award (Distinguished and Meritorious), twice awarded the Secretary of the Army's Decoration for Exceptional Civilian Service, twice selected as a Federal Computer Week’s “FED100”, selected as Government Computer News' Defense Executive of the Year, selected for the Association for Federal Information Resource Management Executive Leadership Award, selected for the e-Gov Institute’s Knowledge Management Award, and was awarded the Army’s Superior Unit Award and Commander’s Award. Currently, Gary is the President of American Cyber, which he founded in 2011. Engineering Solutions and Products LLC (ESP) announced April 14, 2016 that General Bantz J. “John” Craddock, U.S. Army Retired, has joined the ESP Advisory Board. “John’s extensive experience as a distinguished leader in both the corporate and military arenas will immediately benefit ESP’s strategic growth strategy,” said Douglas Fouser, ESP President and Chief Executive Officer.
General Craddock served as the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) and Commander in Chief of the U.S. European Command. As SACEUR, General Craddock commanded the military forces of NATO’s 28 nations and led history’s most successful alliance into new frontiers of relevance and purpose. His distinguished military career spanned leadership at all levels, including Combat Commander in Operation Desert Storm and Commander of the U.S. Southern Command.
General Craddock received many U.S. military and international awards for distinguished service. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Atlantic Council and on the Board of Advisors of MTCI. Prior to this, he served as President of the MPRI Division at L-3 Communications.
